Hunger Games II connection

I can connect to the way Katniss feels torwards Peta and Gale right now. She just came back from a gam that almost cost her her life, and actually did cost others there life. The last thing she would want was to come back alive, and find her best friend Gale mad at her.
As for Peeta, they worked so well together to keep eachother alive, and when they finally did live and come back to there home, it has begun all akward between them. I feel bad for Katniss to have lost her best friend Gale, and to have made more akwardness between th person who she saved life, and the person who helped keep her alive.

When i was reading the first book of the hunger games i wondered why Katniss didnt just run and get the bow and arrow in the first place. Why did she continue staring into Peetas eyes, did he try and trick her since he was in the other aliance?
I personaly think she shouldnt have continued looking into his eyes and run and get the bow and arrows since it was a matter of life and death (litteraly) the games were ment to just have ONE winner, why would she want to risk her life?

English Blog

I personaly think that th side "high-calorie foods should be banned from school" was the most effective on me. It gave many good facts, and had a very good opinion about the argument. They were also very perquading, which helped me read more about what they had to say. Even though i agree with the side that they should not bann junk food from school, i dont think they had enough facts about the topic.

The only thing they had was all there opinions on the topic and why they chose the opinion. I dont think that it was enough to persuade someone to go on there side and fight for it.

My Blog

In my book, Laura and Roger are in a fight about who gets to carry the aeothometer. I personaly think they shouldnt be fighting over it and figure out a way to deal with it.
I believe they should find a way to deal with it because this argument is keeping them from working as a team, which slows them down from finding out who is lying and where the Gobblers are.
If i was Laura, or Roger I wouldnt mind who get to carry the aethometer even though i would want it to be me, because it would be destroying my friendship with one of my bestest friends, and it would be stoping me from finding out the truth about someone and completing my task.

Roger is Lauras friend. He doesnt talk much in the book, but from what Laura says he is a good sports player, is very energetic and loves to have adventrues with Laura along. Now in my book, Laura and him are in a fight but i dont know exactly why yet. I only know that they fighted over who would be in charge of holding the aethometer. The aethometer is the machine that can tell if someone is lying so its actually a big deal whoever gets to hold it and use it. I want to read more and find out how the deal with it and who eventually gets to carry it

My English Blog

As i was reading my book this week, i was wondering how come Lyra and her foster mom (Gobbler) were going.
 Then as i read on, i found out that her foster mom turns out to be a gobbler and tries to attack her and her daemon! Then Lyra andher daemon try to escape and actually do.
The thing i have been wondering though is that will Ms.Lee try to capture Lyra again? or will she just let her go free. Also what will Lyra tell her Master, or anyone else when they see her and what exactly will they say? I cant wait to read ahead and find out what happens!

My Book Assesment

 In my book, the Northen Lights by Philip Pullman, the main character is Laura. I think she is around the age of 14-17, and has a best friend names Roger.
I am still thinking wether I like my main character or not, the reason is is that I find her mysterious in a way. I dont like the fact the fact that she goes and spies on the Master, her uncle, and all the conferences being done.

There are also things about Laura that I do like. I like the was that when she wants to find out something she finds it out, I might not like the WAY she finds it out, but she is still taking matters into her own hands. Since I am still at the beggining of the book, I dont think I can make a clear disition wether or not  I like her yet.

I am looking forward to reading the rest of the book, and its next 2 books in the series. I'm finding the first book very exciting and mysterious, which makes me want to read more and more. I cant wait to see what happenes next.
